What is 3d Fantasy Art?
3D Fantasy Art is a smaller branch of 3d art. 3D art is a range of art that uses digital technology to produce it. It is as you would expect a 3D image rather than oil painting or watercolour which are 2D images. This means that when you are working on this art you can “walk” around your image much like you can a real human being. This gives your art a new dimension as you do not simply paint your picture but rather built it. You can then alter the angle of it as much as you want. Some people take their art a step further and actually create movies with them!
Would I be interested in it?
If you love art and you love fantasy then you will probably love 3d Fantasy Art. But it does take time to learn to do. Like anything that is worth doing you will have to learn it. Sometimes that will be fun and others frustrating! lol
I don’t know anything about it can I do it?
Absolutely. If you can use a computer and you want to learn you can do it. You can learn to create simple pictures quite quickly using the tools you will be shown in this site.
Do I have to be a great artist to do it?
No. You don’t have to have ever picked up a paintbrush or pencil in your life to start today to create pictures. Some people do use Photoshop and Gimp to enhance, combine or alter their artwork but this can be learnt.
Will it cost a lot of money?
Hmmmm. Yes and No! You can start and set up and Create 3D Art for Free , and there are certainly a lot of free tools out there, however there will come a time when you just want, just need or must have that new model, background or clothing set. These range from less than $1 to in the hundreds. Of course if you want to you can also learn how to create your own models, clothes backgrounds etc. But that takes time and there are some very good experts out their that will create them for you and charge you very little for using them!
